This is my beginners blogging method
1. Pick a topic for your blog.
When picking a topic I recommend picking something that you are passionate for.
With the variety of monetization methods available (Adsense, affiliate programs, Amazon, CPA offers, etc) just about every topic can be turned into an money making blog. But we are not concerned about the exact monetization methods right now. You just want to pick a topic that you are probably obsessed with.
2. Keyword researching
Keywords in your blog are very important that is because keywords are search terms that people search on search engines such as Google and Bing to find your blog. If you can get keywords that are highly ranked and searched a lot on search engines you will get organic traffic. Organic traffic is great because they are free traffic that come through the search engine.
The keyword you should be targeting are depending on the niche/topic that you chose.

3. Create a Blogger blog
I recommend using blogger blogs, it is free and very user friendly. Also since Google owns Blogger, how could they NOT give them a slight ranking boost. http://www.blogger.com
4. Choosing a template for your blog
This step is highly depending on your topic, pick a theme that is best suite for your topic and personality. appropriate appearance are as important as content.
5. Content
To create content everyday you would create a new post. And this isn't need to write a 1000 word each post. This could be
- informative content written by you
- a relevant Youtube video
- an article you recently read
- a controversial thread on a forum
- a great tip for a popular blog
Remember this isn't about income right now. We are just getting used to posting frequently and increasing search engine rankings.
6. Social book each new post.
For this step I suggest using Social mark(http://www.socialmarker.com/). This will assists you in bookmarking new posts to social websites such as: Slashdot, Reddit, Digg, Fark.... And many more.
7. Facebook and Twitter
Having a Facebook and Twitter page can drive a lot of traffic to your blog posts. if you were able to incorporate Facebook and Twitter with it, you could be multiplying your efforts (and thus multiplying potential income generation).
8. Once you have 100+ visitors per day.
If you post and bookmark each post daily you will see a traffic growth. now is the time to MONETIZE.
The monetize method is depending on your topic, keep in mind that doesn't have be a single way to make money. you can put a couple block of AdSense ads with some Clickbank Affiliate programs. Though I recommend not to put more then two different types of monetize method. It can HURT sales.
